Whats new? Well for starters, this part of my website! Keep checking back as i'm going to try and update this page with actual shop news as well as info on cool new guitar gear thats worth talking about.

08.21.07 - Website makeover is complete and i'd like to give a huge thanks to Elizabeth Holloway for her design work. She created those amazing sunburst logos shown at the top of each page! The new lo-fi looking buttons on the main menu are my handy work of course. :)

03.23.08 - NEW! Click here to see the gallery of PC Amps in custom colors! (Note - These special orders have long been sold, but we can order one just like it for you. Email or call for details!)

04.06.08 - We now offer true-bypass mods for most wah pedals including the current Dunlop Crybaby, original Thomas Organ Crybaby, and various italian wah pedals. More information can be found on our "Repairs" page. Feel free to email if you have any questions.

06.11.08 - Guitar Lab now has a BLOG! In the coming months you'll find gear reviews, stories about interesting guitars i've worked on, and maybe even a few guitar related rants. Enjoy!

07.23.08 - Due to some recent phone calls and emails I've received, its important that i post the following:

Guitar Lab is not subcontracted with any local music store. (and we like it that way)

I do not pick up, drop off, or perform repairs at any local music store.

If a sales associate claims that your instrument will be repaired by Joel Reed or taken to Guitar Lab, they are mistaken.

I only work on instruments that are brought directly to Guitar Lab by their owners.

Finally, I want to say thanks and express my appreciation to the local businesses who refer people to us each week. You can be sure we'll return the favor whenever one of our customers can benefit from the services or goods provided by your establishment.

08.5.08 - Guitar Lab is now a dealer for Arteffect Pedals! They've got one wicked sounding overdrive pedal and some killer wah pedals. All hand made in Israel with the best quality parts and true bypass switching. You'll see these on the site in the few days. Orders can be pleased now though.
