this page with actual shop news as well as info on
cool new guitar gear thats worth talking about.
08.13.09 - Les Paul died today at the of age 94. Possibly the most important guitar player & innovator ever. I really wish I could have met him.
08.15.09 - Ted Weber died today. I've never met anyone who knew more about speakers and their interaction with guitar amps. I saved every one of the personal emails I received from Ted as they were resources on which I built my own tone and helped my customers do the same. If you have a great sounding Fender amp that I put new tubes and speakers in (back in the early years of Guitar Lab) then you have Ted Weber to thank for that. All that I know about speakers and alot that I know about tube amps, I learned from Ted... I'll really miss talking with him.
08.18.09 - Here is a nice article about Ted Weber from the local paper where he lived, CLICK HERE to read it.

03.09.10 - Each week I still get emails and phone calls about amp repair, which I do not do. I am happy to announce there is now someone offering this service locally!

He works on both tube and solid state amps, effect pedals, synthesizers, hi-fi stereos, etc...
